Nikki Semanchik gave me very good advice in a very short time.  She explained that it was possible for a nonprofit to receive its revenue from providing services, rather than from donations. Since we were at an early stage, we did not yet have income from services, so she suggested delaying questions on the details of reorganization until we were closer to having to implementing them.  We are getting close to that point now, and we expect to contact Nikki again soon to learn more about how we will need to compensate our volunteers, handle our accounting and file our tax returns.
